Can’t recommend highly enough!

Golding’s were really responsive, immediately gave an estimate over message/pictures which I was happy with, came at short notice within a few days and did a brilliant job, for a very reasonable honest price. The job ended up costing £200 less than anticipated because less materials were required (I would have been none the wiser) which highlighted they really are a company you can trust to look after you and do great quality work!

It does what it says on the tin! I did what I would never normally do - I chose Josh’s outfit without talking to anyone else. Having read the reviews, looked at photos and videos and personally spoke to Josh I had a gut feeling of trust, I am glad I did.

George arrived on his own about 8:00’ish and started immediately on his own stripping down the old fence. His buddy came about 30 minutes later and then there was no stopping them. Josh put in an appearance mid morning to check in, have a cup of tea and we had a chat and he left with the old fence and rubbish.

The pair laboured away till mid afternoon without a break. They left us with a beautiful bespoke wooden 14mtr fence having stripped out the old, sunk post holes and fixed new posts in cement. New fence rails and gravel boards were fixed and each feather board fixed with power hammered nails. They made sure there was no rubbish left and left the site clean. They themselves were friendly and courteous all the time and every question was answered in full detail. And they were very grateful for the tea.

I chose Golding’s Gardeners due to seeing other recommendations and I am so glad I did. Josh and Jake worked tirelessly through the most horrendous weather for the past month getting cold and soaked through, Jake worked through the bad weather even though it was his birthday, they had hardly any sunny days.

Nothing is too much trouble for them they just get on with it. I was kept up to date with everything they were doing, they always turned up on time even though Josh had to come across from the other side of town.

Very competitive prices, they use the best quality materials which were always delivered on time, take their boots off when coming into the house which is an ordeal in itself when they are soaking wet. Grey composite fences were erected to the back and sides of the house, then a large patio was laid with 4 different sizes of Indian sandstone paving which also followed round the side and front of the house. The attention to detail is amazing, they spend so much time making sure everything is perfect even though it means going home late. Timber sleepers were installed in the back garden and filled with soil ready to plant shrubs etc. Part of the front garden was covered in stone chippings. On completion of all work, the skip, and all other rubbish was taken away. The whole garden front and back was jet washed. I now look forward to having my composite garden gate fitted and also other various jobs. Raffy (the dog) came to have a look as well.

I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. So if you want an excellent job carried out please choose Golding's Gardeners, why would you go anywhere else?

After another set of bad weather our wooden fence which we had been repairing ourselves for the past 4 years finally gave up. We contacted Josh (Golding's Gardeners Ltd) who responded quickly to our request for a quote.

On arriving to provide a quote Josh was kind enough to remove his work boots before walking through our house to the back garden without being asked. His quote was quick and he was able to fit in our work within the timescales we needed. Josh arrived on site and worked like a trooper for the whole day (even through multiple rain showers). Considerate on site and able to be trusted on his own when we had an emergency vet visit.

The finished fence is exactly what we had hoped for and looks fantastic. Our neighbours have commented on the quality of both materials used and Josh's workmanship. Josh cleaned up the garden on completion of the work and arranged for the old fence and mud to be collected. Josh was friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and approachable during and after having completed the work.

We would highly recommend him to family and friends for any gardening requirements and would not hesitate to call on him again for any future garden work.
